Hello, I’m Nancy.
I’m a passionate teacher and an art enthusiast. I'm also co-founder of AdventureArt. AdventureArt was born out of the love of art and the desire to spread art as much as possible.
I'm a true believer that everyone is an artist. I'm here in the hopes of re-igniting others' passion for art or to continue to encourage others to create.
Art has always been part of my life either by creating something myself or by guiding others to create. I took art classes every year during my school years including college. From drawings to paintings to everything in between every art project fills my soul with light, love, and joy.
Throughout my life, I’ve been surrounded by amazing children that have inspired me and helped shape me into the person I am today. They are my true teachers in life.
I’m looking forward to growing as a person, as a teacher, and as a co-owner of AdventureArt.

I’m Susy and I have loved art as far back as I can remember. When I was a kid (in the years before YouTube) I struggled learning how to do certain art techniques on my own. Now, I teach kids how to do them!
​
Teaching is one of my favorite ways to learn, and I love to learn alongside my students. I have a wide variety of art techniques
​
I enjoy teaching (like bookbinding, sewing, painting, clay sculpture, screenprinting, modern calligraphy, drawing), and that culminates in a lot of fun art projects for us to create.

AdventureArt is proudly owned and operated by two Latinas, Nancy and Susy.
AdventureArt is a business built on the love of art by two passionate art enthusiasts. We have decades of experience in art and we both have college degrees. We both have a plethora of art skills and we thoroughly enjoy creating art in our daily lives. As art teachers, we aim to nurture the love of art and encourage unique creativity.

We have a variety of services available which include Exploration Thursdays, art workshops, special class series, group classes, private art lessons, small & large events, and parties.
​
Our Exploration Thursdays class meets once a week and is for ages 6-17. This two-hour class is child-led, unique, and fun. You may enroll in as many or as few classes as you would like. This class fosters the love of art in a gentle, engaging, and entertaining way.
Our Teens class (12+) is project-based. We provide materials and tutorials on skill sets that include screenprinting, cosplay construction, pottery, and much more. Teens will learn how to begin, create, and complete projects and works of art.
Adult classes meet once a month and are filled with creative art projects. We will make beautiful art that can be proudly displayed in your home, can be worn, or can be used. Come join this amazing class suitable for all adult artists and all skill levels.

Our special clay class series is an intimate class with a maximum of 8 students per series. This class is for all levels, each student gets a personalized lesson plan according to their interest and skill level. Artists will make many pottery projects and will enjoy time on the pottery wheel.

Group classes, private lessons, events, and parties are personalized and entertaining. Please contact us to get more information and to get your event or class planned.
Our services set us apart because we are not only providing a tutorial for an art project or craft but we are also providing a quality experience. We welcome everyone and meet everyone's needs. Our services are also filled with endless amounts of fun and creativity. Each event will be an adventure filled with fun, creativity, art, encouragement, and self-growth. By the end of each class or event, each artist will have created their very own masterpiece while being filled with self-confidence, pride, and joy.
